ABSTRACT: This comparative paper about conflict management addresses the patterns, models, research methodologies, and legal issues involved in examining the impact of dispute causation and resolution on the operation of common property regimes (CPRs). After presenting eight case studies depicting diverse issues relevant to conflict management, paper analyzes CPR dispute management as a whole and draws comparisons between different systems for CPR and arrangements for dispute resolution.
